We're Hiring!

The City of Navasota is currently accepting applications for the following full-time positions:


Performs a variety of manual labor tasks related to the care and maintenance of grounds at city parks, cemetery, baseball fields, or other facilities.


Drives a dump truck and assists with the repair and maintenance of city facilities, streets, drainage system, and right-of-way.Must have at least one year of experience operating large vehicles or equipment and a CDL driver's license.


Operates various types of large and valuable heavy-duty equipment such as a gradall, motor grader, front‑end loader, road roller, back hoe, jack hammer, street sweeper, and light or heavy-duty truck as required.Knowledge in the repair and maintenance of city facilities, streets, drainage system, and rights-of-way. Two years of experience is preferred.


Performs a variety of manual labor tasks related to the cleanliness, maintenance, and repair of city facilities, streets, drainage system, and right-of-ways.


Reads, records, installs, repairs, and maintains city water, gas, and wastewater meters; reports possible hazards; and schedules meter reading assignments.Class C Water and Wastewater Certification from the Texas Water Commission desirable.
