The City of Navasota is currently accepting applications for the following full-time positions.

Current Openings

Meter Maintenance Technician
Maintains city gas and water meters, operates manual and AMI meter reading equipment; and installs residential water and gas meters. Manages daily consumption and continuous water usage reports, verifies leaks, and makes repairs as necessary. Disconnects and reconnects water and gas services, and ensures water and gas meters are in working order.

Utility Technician 
Responsible for responding to calls for service and locating underground utilities for any type of excavation.  Must be self-motivated, have good customer service skills, be able to multitask, and keep good records.  Water/Wastewater License preferred but willing to train the right motivated individual. 

Parks and Facilities Maintenance Laborer
Performs a variety of manual labor tasks related to the care and maintenance of grounds at city parks, cemetery, baseball fields, or other city facilities.

Part-Time Pool Manager/Head Lifeguard 
Effectively administers the operation of the swimming pool in accordance with city policies and state code. Part Time Position. $15/hr

Part-Time Lifeguard 
Under the supervision of the Pool Manager and/or Head Lifeguard enforce the safety regulations for the protection of pool patrons; make suggestions for new or updated regulations; assist in general maintenance of pool facilities, and perform other duties as assigned by the Pool Manager/Head Lifeguard and/or Parks & Recreation Manager. Part Time Position. $12/hr

TCOLE Certified Police Officers
Ignite your passion and serve. Become a Navasota Police Officer, apply today! Protect the city's residents and property and enforces laws and ordinances. Duties include patrolling an assigned area, generally by vehicle, responding to emergency calls and routine complaints, and taking appropriate action. Must be certified through TCOLE.
