Effective December 9, 2009, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) instituted the 90-day appeal and protest period for City of Navasota residents and property owners who would like to provide scientific or technical information refuting the proposed changes to the preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs).
FEMA Flood Map Appeal/Protest Submission Forms are available at the Navasota Public Works Administration Offices located at 200 E. McAlpine Street.
