In an age when it is easier than ever for individuals to use technology to control, stalk, and harass, it is important for community members to be able to identify, prevent, and respond to these crimes. This training will describe the ins-and-outs of digital abuse within the context of intimate partner violence, as well as review common ways abusers use technology. The presenter will also discuss the laws and remedies available in Texas to protect survivors and safety planning practices that anyone can employ.
