Navasota Fire Chief Jason Katkoski
The Navasota Fire Department is committed to serving the citizens
of Navasota by protecting life, property and the environment
through prevention, education, rescue, and suppression services.

The Navasota Fire Department has been protecting the citizens
of the Navasota area since 1886 and currently protects a population
of approximately 14,000 residents living in a 175 square mile
area. The department is a combination department with six (6)
paid personnel on a 24/48 rotation and thirty (30) volunteers.
They respond to approximately to 300 calls annually with an
average response time of 7.71 minutes.

The Navasota Fire Department is dispatched through the Grimes
County Communications Center located in Anderson. During the
last ISO audit of Navasota, the Navasota Fire Department earned
a rating of five.
