  13. DEA Nationwide Drug Take-Back Event

    April 26, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Navasota City Hall Parking Lot

    The City of Navasota Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Nationwide Drug Take-Back event, participates in the event annually. At the Drug Take-Back event, participants can safely dispose of all accumulated expired, unwanted and unused prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous. You do not have to be a resident of Navasota to participate. Neighboring communities and counties may also take advantage of this opportunity. Participants may dispose of expired or unused medication at the Navasota City Hall parking lot at Holland Street on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Medications may be submitted in its original container, the individual should remove any identifying information from the prescription label. All solid dosage pharmaceutical product and liquids in consumer containers may be dropped off. Intravenous solutions, injectable substances and syringes will not be accepted due to potential hazards posed by blood-bo
