Summer Reading Program

Go Wild...Read!

The Navasota Public Library will be holding its annual summer reading program during the months of June and July 2005. The 2005 Summer Reading Program's theme is "Go Wild...Read!" and is designed to encourage children to read during their summer vacation. Children can register at the Library to take part in the reading log, which will provide them with opportunities to win various prizes once the log is completed.

The Summer Reading Program will also have weekly presentations at the Navasota Center on Monday nights from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The presentations are free of charge and provide entertainment for the whole family. This year's schedule is as follows:

June 6 - 'Return to Where the Wild Things Are' Live Show

June 13 - Junior Master Gardeners Storytime and Demonstration

June 20 - Matilda the Clown

June 27 - Make-N-Take Activity

July 4 - Independence Day Activities

July 11 - Texas Snakes with Don Plitt

July 18 - End of Program Pool Party
