Navasota Recycling Station
501 5th Street

The Navasota Recycling Station provides recycling operations for yard waste, paper, aluminum cans, and plastics. Recycling plays a vital role in our environment by helping to divert materials that would normally end up in the landfill. Allowing recyclable materials to be placed in the landfill will eventually take up more space. The cost of operating a landfill may go up as the need to open another is expensive, and these costs are usually passed on to you, the customer; resulting in an increase of garbage collection services.

The Navasota Recycling Station has new hours of operation effective October 2006. The Navasota Recycling Station is open from 10:00am-6:00pm Saturdays Only.

The City of Navasota converts the yard waste collected at the facility and monthly curbside pickup into quality compost. The compost is sold to area residents for $10.00 per yard. It is a perfect mix for use in home gardens and flowerbeds. For further information, please call 936-825-6450.
