Yard Waste

Curbside Pickup Schedule:

North of Washington Ave.
First (1st) and Third (3rd) Week of the month. 

South of Washington Ave.
Second (2nd) Week of the month and Four (4th) Week of the month.  

Guidelines for Yard Waste Collection:
  • Yard waste pile must be no larger than ten (10 cy.) cubic yards which is ten (10’) foot in length by five (5’) foot in width by five (5’) foot high of material.
  • Logs must be no larger than twelve (12”) inches in diameter.
  • Stumps are not accepted.
  • The cut ends of limbs should be facing the street in the same direction.
  • Small amounts of brush, grass clippings or leaves may be placed in your Republic Services trash polycart.
  • Yard waste must be placed near the edge of the street or curb.
  • Do not place brush in the street, on a sidewalk, in a drainage ditch, and keep four (4’) feet away from parked cars, mailboxes, fire hydrants, utility poles or water meter/valve boxes. Yard waste shall not be mixed with other materials (such as litter, household garbage, bulky items, wood fencing, nails, plastic, metal, lumber, etc.)
Yard waste materials can also be taken to our City's Brush Collection Facility every SATURDAY from 9am to 4pm - located on 9911 CR 415, Navasota. Map Location
  • Tipping fees, with current utility bill/paid stub and valid driver’s license:
  • Car/small pickup: No charge.
  • Full-size pickups or bumper pull trailers up to 10 feet in length: No charge.
  • Bumper pulled trailers over 10 feet in length: $25.00.
  • Gooseneck trailers: $50.00.
  • Dump truck, per truck load: $50.00.
  • Compost price, per yard: $10.00.
  • Compost price, bulk rate (10 or more yards) per yard: $5.00
